Neon Drift — Delete Your Data
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Neon Drift (developed by branclev) identifies players by a self-chosen callsign, which can optionally be linked to a Google account for cross-device restore, social features, and purchases. This page explains how to have your data deleted.
Option 1: Delete in-game (instant, recommended)
If your callsign is linked to a Google account, you can delete all your data directly in the game:
- Open Settings from the main menu (Profile tab).
- Make sure you're signed in with your linked Google account (the game may prompt you to sign in — this is how we verify the data is yours).
- Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom and tap DELETE MY DATA.
- You'll be asked to confirm. Deletion is immediate and includes your purchase records (see the note below).
Option 2: Request by email
If you never linked a Google account, or no longer have access to the game:
- Send an email to Branclevy@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my data".
- Include the exact callsign you used in the game. If your callsign is linked to a Google account, please send the request from the Gmail address of that Google account so we can verify ownership.
- We'll delete the data described below, typically within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your callsign and all associated leaderboard scores (All-Time, Daily, and Storm), including your recorded level and equipped skin
- Your Google account link (the Google-issued identifier associating your account with your callsign)
- Your server-side progress backup (experience points)
- Your friend relationships, and pending friend requests sent or received
- Your Versus match history and Last Pilot Standing participation records
- Any push notification device tokens registered to your account
- Our records of your purchases (see the important note below)
Important note about purchases
Deleting your data includes deleting our record of your in-game purchases. This does not erase your ownership with Google: your Google Play order history remains with Google (we can't delete that, and refunds remain subject to Google Play's own refund policies). If you later link the same Google account in the game again, tapping Restore Purchases in the Store re-verifies your purchases with Google Play and brings your purchased content back.
What isn't affected
- Local device data — your in-game progress, unlocked cosmetics, and settings are stored only on your own device and are not something we can remotely delete. You can clear this yourself at any time by clearing the app's storage/data through your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.
- Google Play records — your purchase/order history with Google Play belongs to Google and is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Backups — data may briefly persist in routine database backups after a deletion request, until those backups naturally cycle out. It is removed from all active systems upon request.
For more detail on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
